Tattered Saddle is a family-owned and -operated outfitter specializing in unique, low-volume horseback rides and bespoke horseback experiences. We are equipped to bring adventurers out on their very first horseback ride, or to create a private horseback experience for clients who already know what their dream event looks like.
We operate our horseback trail rides at two locations in Arizona (Tucson and Oro Valley) and one location in Colorado (Livermore/Fort Collins). Each location provides one-hour beginner horseback trail rides, sunset trail rides, and “cowboy-for-a-day” Scratch&Ride Experiences, as well as specialty rides tailored to each location’s unique atmosphere.
Some Specifications
Most of our locations have accommodations for riders of up to 250 pounds (please call us at (970) 657-5463 for riders 250-300 pounds). Children as young as 6 years old are welcome to join many of our amazing, local horseback rides. Pony rides are available for kids who are too young or too nervous to go on a full-length horseback ride.
Whatever horseback riding adventure you choose is sure to be a unique experience – our healthy horses, and reliable trail guides, will see to that! More About Our Locations
At our Colorado location, The Stables at Gordon Creek in Livermore, we offer advanced riding horseback rides where experienced riders can trot and lope through our grassy meadows. We also offer a Charcuterie Picnic Ride, where you can enjoy a catered picnic at a beautifully prepared table.
We have two locations in Arizona. Our Tucson location is located on the property of the El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort ( The Corral at El Conquistador) offers a technical Advanced Mountain Horseback Ride, where experienced riders can challenge themselves with a steep and rewarding climb in the Pusch Ridge Wilderness. Our Oro Valley location is located on the property of the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa (The Stables at Westward Look).
